My Name is Cat Skinner
I’m a secular minister, which means I perform celebrations and rituals for people who wish to honour life’s transitions and milestones without any particular religious connotations including weddings, baby naming ceremonies and end-of-life celebrations.
I’m also a poet and indie author who has been blogging about life, love and parenting for nearly two decades. Writing has, on more than one occasion, saved my life. Discovering the power of my words connects me to inner truth and helps to move through some of the most complex and challenging moments of life.
Now, in my transformational coaching practice, I draw on Journal Therapy, which I refer to as Reflective Writing, to help my clients make their own powerful connections between the written word and their unique inner landscape. I’m certified in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Divine Feminine Mythology and try to bridge the gap between the mundane and the sacred in my practice, drawing on archetype and our collective consciousness to offer both intuitive and practical healing tools.
